Whether you are moving locally or long distance our professional pet transportation service will get your furry family members safely to their destination. They will travel by air or road, and will be well cared for during stopovers and upon arrival using Crown approved kennels and/or catteries.

BOOKINGS

Being organised is extremely important. Asianstars recommend you allow maximum lead times so we can coordinate bookings to suit your preferred timing. If your pet is travelling by air 7 working days notification is required although we would consider this the minimum.

LEGAL STUFF

Oversea country has strict rules governing the importation of animals.  Both the New Zealand Customs Service and www.biosecurity.govt.nz share responsibility for ensuring the rules are observed. For example all dogs registered in New Zealand for the first time (except farm dogs used for stock control) must be micro chipped. Before being released to their owners all imported animals require Bio Security and Customs clearances.
Note: The following breeds of dog may not be brought into worldwide:

• American Pit Bull Terrier

• Brazilian Fila

• Dogo Argentino

• Japanese Tosa

• Perrode de Presa Canario

In some instances import prohibition controls on dogs do not apply to:

• Guide and hearing dogs

• Companion dogs for disabled people or for people formally engaged in training guide, hearing or companion dogs.
   

MEASURING YOUR DOG

To ensure the quality of your dogs relocation experience it is very important to have a correctly sized cage. Our Service partners do everything possible to ensure maximum comfort and the shortest possible transit time. Here’s how to measure your dog to enable the correct sized transportation crate.

• A.Height in centimetres from floor to top of head or ears.

• B.Length in centimetres from root of tail to tip of paws or nose.

• C.Width in centimetres at widest part of body

• D.Weight in kilograms.
